A delightful culinary surprise

Upon arrival, I was greeted with warm smiles from the staff. The room was impeccably clean, and the decor felt cozy and inviting. Breakfast was a standout—well-cooked and made with local ingredients, offering a perfect start to the day.

While the first night was restful, the road noise crept in during the early hours. Parking was a bit of a hassle, as spots were limited, leading me to hunt for street parking nearby.

I stayed for a couple of nights primarily to explore nearby attractions like Pendle Heritage Centre and Colne Parish Church. The meals at the pub exceeded my expectations, especially the hearty full English breakfast that left me fully satisfied. The decor was quite appealing, with an inviting atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. The spacious deluxe double room provided all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.

I had a great stay at the Hare and Hounds. The room was spacious, super clean, with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle for making tea. The meals were a highlight, especially the full English breakfast that was quite substantial. Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere in the pub, which had a recently refurbished look. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home. on the second day, my room wasn't serviced, which was a bit disappointing. Parking was limited, and I had to park on a nearby side road, but it was manageable. it was good value for money.

The noise from the busy road outside was bothersome especially with the window open due to the thick duvet that made it too warm to sleep comfortably. Limited parking was also a pain, I had to find a spot on a nearby side road rather than at the hotel.

the staff were super friendly and polite, made us feel welcome right from the start. the room was spacious and very clean, with free tea and coffee. breakfast was amazin, lots of choice and the full english was huge! dinner in the bar was really good too, way better than we expected. overall, great value for money and a cozy atmosphere.

our room didn't get made up on day 2 which was kinda disappointing. The parking is limited up front.

would want to stay there again.
